Cancer kills tennis star Baltacha

Former British number one women's tennis player Elena Baltacha has died of liver cancer.

She was 30 and had been diagnosed with the illness in January - just two months after retiring from the sport. Born in Ukraine and raised in Scotland, Baltacha won 11 singles titles and made the third round of Wimbledon in 2002. Her agent Eleanor Preston says she's a true role model. Organisers of a charity event for her next month featuring Andy Murray and Tim Henman say they'll now be holding it in her memory.
