Scots are being told to do their bit to help cut down on waste.
The #making things last campaign is being launched by Zero Waste Scotland - they are asking the public what items they think can re-used in our throwaway society. Suggestions include hiring more items like clothing, rather than buying new things.
It follows the 5p carrier bag tax, which raised £1m for good causes.
Fife Council targets are for 75% of all waste to be recycled by the year 2020. 54% of all waste in Fife was recycled in 2013.
