A fatal accident inquiry into the Glasgow bin lorry crash is expected to last for several weeks.
Proceedings got underway earlier at Glasgow Sheriff Court to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident on 22nd December 2014.
Six people were killed when the bin lorry mounted the pavement in the city centre, while ten more were injured.
Driver Harry Clarke will give evidence, while the inquiry will look at the features of the lorry, and the driver's medical history.
The Crown Office has concluded there will be no criminal prosecutions over the crash.
A minute's silence was held at the start of the inquiry.
