Celebrating what it means to be a young woman in Scotland today is the focus of an event being held at the Scottish parliament. 128 young women from Scottish schools- including pupils from Auchmuty High School in Fife-will meet with female MSPs.
Inspiring young women to be the best they can be is the aim of an event taking place at the Scottish Parliament today.
Hosted by Presiding Officer Tricia Marwick, it will look to encourage young women to develop the confidence and leadership skills needed to help them achieve.
128 young women from across Scotland- including pupils from Auchmuty High School in Fife will meet the Presiding Officer to explore what it means to be a young woman in Scotland.
The school pupils will also have the opportunity to question female MSPs and ask them for advice.
