Around four million people every year could be falling victim to scams - because many never report them.
And Scams Awareness Month is aiming to highlight the misery they cause. Fife Council Trading Standards and Citizens' Advice and Rights Fife are teaming up for the initiative. Geoff Bates, from Trading Standards, tells us where people are being scammed:
