The headteacher at Auchmuty High School in Glenrothes has expressed her pride in her pupils after they received their exam results today.
A number of them were among the first in Scotland to open their envelopes in front of the cameras this morning (see video above).
This year marked the first one where a full diet of exams have taken place for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic, with help regarding exam results available through Skills Development Scotland.
Shirley-Anne Somerville, the Scottish Government's Education Secretary and MSP for Dunfermline, says qualifications achieved will "equip young people with the skills they need to enter apprenticeships or go into the workplace" where they can support Scotland’s economic recovery after Covid-19's impact.
