Appeal for information after pregnant woman's car vandalised in Kirkcaldy

An appeal for information has been made after a pregnant woman's car was vandalised in Kirkcaldy.

Rhoda Rae's vehicle was damaged and her partner Steven Beall is asking for anyone who knew anything about the incident to contact police to help them find the person responsible.

CCTV footage, as seen on The Courier's website, shows an individual run up to the car and strike its windscreen three times with an object, before running away from the scene.

Officers say they were alerted about the incident at around 10.35pm in the town's Alloway Drive last Thursday.

It's claimed repair bills could amount to hundreds of pounds.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.35pm on Thursday, 16 September, 2021, police were called to a report that a white Vauxhall Mokka car was vandalised on Alloway Drive, Kirkcaldy.

"Enquiries into the incident are continuing."
