£7m Distillery Work Underway

A minor jobs boost for Glenrothes has moved a step closer work underway on a new distillery in the town.

Fife companny John Fergus & Co Ltd says its Lowland malt distillery called InchDairnie is now being built.

The facility, named after the former estate where it is being built, is expected to be open for business by August 2015.

The project will cost around seven million pounds.
